After finishing her Masters in Economics from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, Meita shifted base to Mumbai and joined Magik Lantern Films as Managing Partner. She comes from an illustrious family of musicians in Kolkata. A trained dancer herself Meita grew up amidst artists, writers and musicians during her formative years. Her financial and managerial skills along with her artistic sensibility proved to be the right combination for her career as a producer. Meita adds warmth and a personal touch to everything she does and that is why she is a delight to work with.
